Form Department Supervisor

We’re searching for a proactive and hands-on Form Department Supervisor to lead daily operations, motivate teams, and drive productivity in our Forming department. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and is passionate about people, performance, and precision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, tooling set-up, and production outputs
• Guide and coach department leads and operators to meet performance goals
• Organize workflow, assign tasks, and communicate priorities clearly and effectively
• Monitor and review daily production output using work center graphs and expediting lists
• Hold daily production meetings to communicate expectations and support accountability
• Address employee questions, resolve challenges, and serve as a key link between management and operators
• Conduct employee performance reviews and maintain records including payroll and employee notes
• Ensure safe work practices are followed and company policies are enforced
• Identify resource needs and allocate staff and equipment efficiently

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—able to motivate and lead with empathy
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand forming processes
• Skilled in the utilization of standard measuring tools (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.)
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required
