SUMMARY

The Chemical Control Technician is responsible for the makeup of chemical baths as well as chemical additions to the tanks.  They also change out filters, anodes and order/receive in chemicals.

Essential Functions

• Makeup chemical baths as required by the Preventative Maintenance schedule and Labman program.
• Check tanks for proper labelling requirements.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Order chemistry based on a signal card system.  Safely stores chemical deliveries in the appropriate areas.
• Work with minimum supervision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs.

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

One-year related experience preferred but not required as we will train.
