SUMMARY

The Racker position is to rack and un-rack delicate parts in support of finishing operations such as cleaning, plating or other surface coatings. This position has the operator mainly is a sitting or standing position, typically using copper wire or pre-existing pins to wire fixture parts onto designated racks for subsequent operations. This position requires articulating of your wrists and hands to perform the tasks.

Essential Functions

• Perform racking operation per general instructions (i.e. using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixture).
• Read and apply special instructions when applicable.
• Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

1st SHIFTS: Part-time hours (7:00am-12:30/2:00pm) or Full time (7:00am - 3:30pm)

This is a full/part-time position –  part time 25 - 32 hours/week and fulltime 40 hours/week from

 Monday through Friday.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

One year of related experience preferred but not required as we will train.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
