ABOUT THE JOB
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will analyze current systems and processes, determining value-added and non-value-added activities. You will collaborate with diverse functional groups, contributing to the design, development, and testing of solutions grounded in data analysis and aligned with organizational goals. Your evaluations will contribute to scheduling techniques and performance benchmarks. Additionally, you will play a key role in employee training programs aimed at enhancing productivity while serving as a mentor and providing guidance to fellow engineers and technicians.
- Spearhead the discovery of revenue vulnerabilities within the highest-grossing product lines by exploring data inputs and then initiating reconciliation projects
- Proactively identify avenues for substantial cost reduction, yield improvement, and efficiency gains during the manufacturing process
- Provide direction and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Sales, protecting revenue targets and profit enhancement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineers from Operations Excellence, Process, and New Product Introduction, safeguarding success on profit enhancement initiatives
- Resolve critical manufacturing challenges in real-time
- Maintain methods of manufacture for high revenue Tech Etch parts, as well as investigate and determine root cause, corrective/preventative actions, and disposition for discrepant material on those parts as needed
- Maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including time and motion studies, cycle time analysis, and general manufacturing instructions that serve as the cornerstone for ongoing operational excellence
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related Science field, or commensurate manufacturing engineering experience within a related industry
- 2 years' of related experience (preferred)

- Proficient in Data Analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw meaningful insights from complex data sets
- Exceptional at Problem-Solving, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey technical information to diverse audiences
- Effective Project Management, delivering results within set timelines and budgets
- Initiative and drive to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality
- Comprehensive knowledge of Tools and Equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Sound understanding of Cost Analysis methodologies and the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives
- Strong command of Quality Control methodologies and principles
- Ability to foster Teamwork and Collaboration, working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
