ABOUT THE JOB

As the Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate forecast demand within our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, analyzing customer usage, and adjusting forecasts as necessary. Reporting directly to our Production Control Manager, this role involves close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service Representatives (CSR), and Production Control teams to ensure alignment and meet customer needs effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Acquire and load customer forecast data into the ERP system
• Access customer portals to review forecast data in relation to part inventory, actual usage, and min/max levels
• Export and reformat data in Excel for ERP system loading
• Ensure that Sales Order consumption accurately represents expected demand
• Perform ad-hoc analysis of customer forecast and usage data to adjust forecast bucket inputs as needed
• Collaborate closely with Sales, CSR, and Production Control Teams through communication channels, including MS Teams, Email, and the ERP system to ensure alignment
• Conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders for key customers to ensure alignment on forecast expectations

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Experience with ERP systems
• Background in demand planning, forecasting, or a related field in a manufacturing environment
• APICS, ASCM, or CPIM certifications (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in MS Office programs (especially Excel)
• Ability to collaborate and engage effectively across functions
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decision making
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and initiative
